About Us
Golden
Bee, Inc. is owned and operated by Golden and Debbie
Millet. Golden's father raised honeybees part of the
time while he was growing up.
Golden
bought his first 1,000 colonies in the spring of 1977.
Golden and Debbie were married in July of 1977. In 1979,
they moved to Marsing, Idaho and established their business.
They continue to run their business on 10 beautiful
acres located about one mile from the Snake River. The
Millet's have 5 children, all who have been raised working
with bees.
The
Millet's now run between 3,000 and 5,000 colonies. They
pollinate almond orchards in California, fruit orchards
in Idaho and Washington and seed crops in Idaho, Oregon
and North Dakota.
Golden
Bee produces honey and supplies local grocery stores
in Nampa and Caldwell, Idaho.
Another
service that Golden Bee offers are beehives to sell
to other beekeepers and hobbyists.
